Simile and Metahpor

 For writing I made a DLO about simile and metaphor.But we draw it.For my DLO I chose a bat and a human this is about a man blind.Simile means comparing two things using like or as and Metaphor means Describing something without using like or as.

Tech

This week for Tech I was working on my sandpapering.For this I had to sand the edges and the font and back.Then I would call Mr Gurndy to cheak now I am on 800 and need one more to go before I polish.I am doing a mickey mouse for someone because it takes her back to when she watch mickey mouse.I really like this class because it is fun and you get to learn how to make necklace and learn about metal.Pewter video

Measuring Angles

I learnt how to Measure Angles using a protractor.This week for Maths I had to make a DLO explaining how to Measuring Angles using a protractor.What i have done here is wrote how to Measure Angels.I have also add a list of the different types of Angles as well as some images to match.

Read Theory

This week I got my Read Theory Progress.I think I have done good but I also think I should look more careful at the text.Read theory is a reading site.What you do is it will give you a grade then you read a story and answer the question if you get it right and your really good at that grade then it will give you another grade higher then that so it can test how good you are and find out your level for reading.

Audio Book

Today for reading my group went on a site called Audio Book.What this dose it there is a book and it reads to you.I have read A story about an energetic boy with a special skill - climbing. But young Henry's spirits plunge when one day he is forbidden to climb. Will Henry Bob ever feel on top of the world again?

Pencil Code

This week for Math I went on a site called Pencil code. What I have done here is used the different angle code words.I have now learnt how to use angle code.What I have also done is made a shape.It was hard because I had to figure out the turn of the turtle and much it would move forwards.

Snowboarding Skills

For this task I  watch a video about snowboarding.Then With a partner I the 10 skills in order of what you think would be the easiest to the hardest to learn how to do.I was with Chavda what we did first before we wrote the skill we discussed about the different skill and what was hard.

This week for reading I have read an article about Snowboarding and Skiing.What I have done here is made a doc then I have picked a sport and talked about the sport then I had to give three reasons why I would like to do this sport.

Making Connections

This week for Reading we read about snowboarding.The first thing we looked at was an article we each read a paragraph.Then we wrote in each box that related to the text the box are text to text,text to world and text to self.Text to text means and text related to another.Text to world means a text related to something about the world and text to self is a text related to your self.

This week for Maths I have been using E-Ako Maths.This site has different math activity.This site has different math types like multiple,Addition and subtraction.For this activity I have picked the number facts sections.What I have done is answer the question.

Time table Transum

For One of my Care Award I chose to do the Transum table 6 days challenge. What I did was each day I would play an activity for the each day.I used a google slide for this.I think the hardest game was Day six it was Times square.What I had to do for this game was I had to Multiply the number at the top of the column by the number at the left of the row and type the answer in the box.This game is called Times Square.

Kiwi Can

This week for Kiwi Can we have been learning about Conflict Resolution.Conflict means an augment between each other and Resolution means resolving a problem.We played some game.The first game was Bang if Miss Lilly callled my named then I have to bob if she called the named next to me then I have to shoot the other person next to them.After this activity we played another one it was called The wink game.What we did was if I looked at the winker and the winker winks at me then I lose.

Table Master

This week for maths we have been learning our time tables while we were waiting to see the teacher for our learning she let us play some maths games.I played table master.For this there is a question and we have to solve it fast if we get the fastest time then we can add it to the board.

All About Me

For my Care Awards I created a presentation about myself. I talked about what I am intrens in and what I like to do.The thing I like is Christmas because we get presents and also when we go to church we make up a dance and song and then perform. So we celebrate when Jesus is born.I also like it because I get to spend more time with my family.

Read 3 Novels

For my Care Awards I have made a presentation about novels I have read in a tream.I talked about what happens in the book and a little bit about the journey.My favorite book is Amulet the storekeeper book one.This book is about a girl named Emily she lost her dad and now there moving to there great grandpa's house.While she was cleaning she found a stone and so on it help her get her mom back and found her great grandpa.
