Lighthouse

This week we were finding out about the amazing photo that Jean Guichard took.The photo was about a tragic Storm that was hitting on the Lighthouse in France near Brittany.The story was that a Photographer named Jean Guichard was taking photos of a lighthouse that was in danger. The owner Théodore Malgorne was frightened. The Lighthouse was still standing, off the north-western coast of France, near Brittany. Théodore Malgorne was delighted that the helicopter was there but Jean Guichard was there taking photos of the dramatic action going on. In 1990, Jean Guichard won second prize form World Press for his photograph. Now it is all over the Online.

Ballad Poem

This week I was creating a DLO about the Inchape Rock.What I have done here is picked a Verse from a Ballad Poem that Mr Johnston read to us.A Ballad is a poem that tells a story.The poem is about the Inchape rock.It was when it help people know what rock that they were about to hit.Once Sir Ralph cut the rope the inchape rock sank in the sea.What I have done on this DLO is picked a Verse form a Poem and then write what the means is for this verse.The verse I chose was number eight.The verse is about Sir Ralph cutting the rope.

M&M Infromatiom

This week group 2 has created a Presentation about M&Ms. This experiment determined how many M&M’s we found in the 45g packet that we received and also the color ratio in the packet. This DLO will show our findings and the estimations made by our group and the whole class.My group was Lyric, Magenta,Jeremiah, and Te-pounamu. This is a presentation that we have created. We have included: Bar Graph, Pie Graph, Mars Statement, Facts and what LS2 and we thought. Our favorite part of our study is eating the M&Ms.

My Bage

This week I got a Bage as my Care Awards.The first activity was Rsearch on the song respect i learnt that This song was originally made by Aretha Franklin. This was published on 1967. Aretha is an American songwriter. She was born on 1946 on march the 25th at Tennessee United State. This song was about showing respect to others anywhere at any time. This song won a Grammy award. Aretha Franklin has been in all kinds of movies and has 5 siblings.Then I learnt how to create a Thank you letter for a teacher or a staff member. What I did was I made a goggle draw then I wrote a thank you letter for Mrs Anderson. I did this because she help me a lot in my learning. What I talked about was why I thanked her and why her. The hard parts was t find photos so people know her I added photos when she was teaching as well.The next activity was showing respect we had to take photos of showing respect.Then it was Life at PBS what I did was I put on some photos what we do at  Panmure Bridge school. I putted some photos that showed some of the class having fun of doing the programs the the school has gave. My favorite was Kiwi Can because they mostly talk about how to be kind and Respect,Positive attitude and Positive Relationships.And the Last one was Belonging to PBS we put on some photos what we do at  Panmure Bridge school.
