3d Drawing

Tech today was great. We were looking at 3d shapes as our clocks will be 3d.The skills that I learnt in this lesson are different tones,drawing 3d and shading.The first thing that you do is get a piece of paper then you draw a 3d square. You needed to draw a flat square then draw another square near a corner going outwards. Then join the corners and then you have a 3d square. If you want to do shading then pick a colour I picked purple then you needed to colour lightly on the top,in the front medium and on the side dark.I really like the way I have shaded my shape as it look like the light is shining on it. This was really fun and it was cool to learn fast ways to create 3d shapes.

Types of Clock


This week was our first Lesson for clocks with Mrs Ferguson. I have made a DLO that shows different clocks. We did so we can learn about the different clock and pick which design for the clock that I was making. I am making an Character Clock. The design is Mickey Mouse. We have also created a google doc with some question to help us think about the design we are going to make and how we are going to make it. I am making mine for my dad as he is a hard worker.

Who are you going to design a clock for? My Dad

Where are you going to use the clock? Use it in the living room


Why

Why do you need a clock? To tell the time
Why are you giving the clock to this person? I am giving it to my dad because he works a lot so we can afford experience things.

How

How is the clock going to be made?We are going to use a laser wood cutter machine to cut out my design.
How is the clock going to be designed? I am going to paint it into mickey mouse

How long will it take to make? Maybe 3 weeks or 5 weeks

Moana Hour of Code

This week we had our Session of Digital Tech.What we did was we finshed some work.What we did was we went on a site and then you have to fiuger out how moana can get to the fish.Me and Avalon tried to used movement to try and solve this out.I mange to finish it all.My favritoe part was making the moana dance.

Tech

This week we went to Tamaki Collage for tech.For this week I have been focusing to finish of my Research DLO. I have added in information on the things I will used for my Animation. I would like my animation to be about why we should stop bullying.The research plan was all about knowing the purpose of the animation.I also had to finish off some of the Casey and Jeff Animation that I made with Scratch.

Context Brainstorm
Planning Time Frame

The purpose of the context brainstorm is to remind us about the different location in the Tamaki area.
The purpose of the Conceptual stament is to learn who to write a Stament about you are creating and what the aged it is valued to the people in the community.The purpose of  Planning Time Frames is to make sure the people know how the work gose and how much times to takes us to finishes works and the time consuming.The animation I am making are for 5-14 which are primary and Intermediate.

Tech

This week was our Second session of Digital tech.We are learning how to code.We used a Site Called Scratch.We were Creating an animation story about Cassey and Jeff going to the park.This was a little similar to the Moana coding but we could also make our on character and Add any Backdrops.The hard part of this type of coding is that you had to keep on putting block that makes sure the times is right.

Tech

This week Friday we went to our first session of tech at Tamaki College.Our Teacher was Mr Grundy.What we were were learning about was mealt. He taught us how to melt them.First we had to make a copy of a document.Then we had to think of four people that we might want to make a necklace for.I picked My Grandma,Dad,Mum,Avalon.Then we had to add images that relate to the person.After that Mr Grundy got some pewter and melted it before we went he tagut as what silhouette was it was a photo that was black and had no holes but the hole had to be cricle.

Technology

LI- To use BRAIN acronym to identify possible changes to a technology piece or system.I learnt what is a system and a piece.I learnt it by doing this task.What we had to do was get in to three groups but we went into four.Then we had to do the slides that Mr Wong and Mr oglive made for us and make a copy.Then we had to pick a picture and then talk about the Benefits,Risks,Alternatives,Initiatives and Next or Nothing.These words stand out for Brain.
