Tech at Tamaki College was great. Mrs Ferguson group have starred planing some Design Ideas for there digital clocks. What we did first was we looked up some design so we could sketch it.  I was making this clock for my dad. After we sketch it we needed to Colour it with either Felt tips,Chalk pastels,Oil pastels and Colour Pencils. For my first design I did a Samoan clock with normal numbers and I was coloring it with Chalk pastels. For my second design I did an Homer with blocked numbers and I used felt tips to colour it. For my third design I did a Mickey mouse and I used Roman Numbers I colour it with Oil pastel. For my last design I had not enough time and it was supposed colored with colour pencils. This was really fun as it had same Art Lesson

Tech Reflections

This week for tech I have finish what I need to do was get Mr Grundy to polish it.I have made a mickey mouse.This is for a friend.To make this you would first need wood and trace a pattern on it then you would need to cut it our with the scroll saw machine then you need pewter metal to pour in the mould. Then you would let it cool down next you need to cut off the extra piece so you can file it.Once you have filed it you need to use sand paper to make it smooth.I have done that so the next thing we do is wet sand.After wet sanding I got Mr Grundy to put brasso so that it is shiney.

Tech

This week Friday we went to our first session of tech at Tamaki College.Our Teacher was Mr Grundy.What we were were learning about was mealt. He taught us how to melt them.First we had to make a copy of a document.Then we had to think of four people that we might want to make a necklace for.I picked My Grandma,Dad,Mum,Avalon.Then we had to add images that relate to the person.After that Mr Grundy got some pewter and melted it before we went he tagut as what silhouette was it was a photo that was black and had no holes but the hole had to be cricle.
