Rewrite the ending :  We  set a trap for him leaving a fake necklace on the ground with Nicky and Pamela watching if it was really professor Rattensky. It all links up with all the clues that we have found. As professor Rattensky walked passed he quickly grabbed the fake necklace and put it in a room he walked into. The Thea sisters quickly ran to the room and saw him put the fake necklace inside the safe. They saw the ring that got stolen . " So your the one that has been stealing the jewelry"  said Violet . As the police walked in they arrested him.

If you could rewrite the ending of the story what would happen?  Write a paragraph explaining what you think should have happened.

My ending to the story is that Lemony Snicket and his associates tricked Hangfire (their enemy) and reported him to the authorities. There he went to jail and would never bother Stain’d by the sea again. While they were there they also cleared Theodora’s name and saved Lemony’s sister and everyone else Hangfire tricked.

- Why your ending is better

My ending is better because not only is it a happy ending but Stain’d by the sea is saved and will be in no more trouble. Also Lemony and his friends rescued other friends that Hangfire tricked.
