Duffy role model assembly

Today we were lucky enough to have a visitor for our Duffy role model. Jamie Wall was our guest from this term. He is an Sports commentator meaning he reports and gives feedback on games he has watched. His feedback gets published world wide and help people understand what had been happening in the rugby community. This week hes is off to the World cup taking place in Japan  and reporting on the rugby from Maori Television. His writing journey all began when he was nine years old and was gifted a book called Men in black of NZ rugby history. Last year he published his first book called Brother in Black it took 3 nights for him to complete the book. He also showed us a movie showcasing a day in his life and talking about his job. I have gotten a baby sitters club book and amulet. I am really looking forward to read these book and a big thank you to Duffy for providing us students with some amazing book.
