Making Connections

I learnt what luge meant. What I did was I made a copy of a google doc then we had to write in the different boxes. The first one was Text to Text we had to find a text then compare it to another text. The Text to World is comparing the text and something that has happen to the world the last one is Text to self. It means that we have to compare something that might have happen to us that is the same as the text. Did you know that luge is a different word for sled in French.

Thank you letter

I learnt how to create a DLO about learning. This week I have been focusing on my Care Awards. One of my Respect activity was Thank you letter for a teacher or a staff member. What I did was I made a goggle draw then I wrote a thank you letter for Mrs Anderson. I did this because she help me a lot in my learning. What I talked about was why I thanked her and why her. The hard parts was t find photos so people know her I added photos when she was teaching.

Showing Respect

 

I learnt how to create a DLO about learning. This week I have been focusing on my Care Awards. One of my Respect activity was Showing Respect. What I did was I thought of what respect looks like then I made a google draw a putted down the ideas. Next I added some photos to help the reader understands what it looks like I used my brother for the reading and I did the photos by myself. The hard part was thinking because there were lots of different ideas. Respect is when you look after someone and treat a person the way you want to be treated. For example you can help a friend on there work if they are stuck.

Life at PBS

I learnt how to create a DLO about learning. This week I have been focusing on my Care Awards. One of my Respect activity was Life at PBS. What I did was I put on some photos what we do at  Panmure Bridge school. I putted some photos that showed some of the class having fun of doing the programs the the school has gave. My favorite was Kiwi Can because they mostly talk about how to be kind and Respect,Positive attitude and Positive Relationships.

Beloning to PBS

I learnt how to create a DLO about learning. This week I have been focusing on my Care Awards. One of my Respect activity was Belonging to PBS. What I did was a made a google draw. Then I went online and found some old photos of my learning on my old class blog when I was little. Then I explain what PBS dose as a school and what they expect. This was a little challenging because i had to think about what to write to tell people about Panmure Bridge School.

Agent Of Change

I learnt what Agent of Change meant.First we made a google drawing explains our goals that we need.To help us set goals we looked at how we could be Agents of Change in our 2018 learning journey.In our drawing we included a Photo of us and the Post and Our goals.One of my key goal is to Finishing all my bages if i do this then it means that it teaches me all the different ways how to Respect people be confinement and have the right attitude at school.

Pewter Casting

This year for tech we are doing Pewter casting.What we did first was we make a template then he had to print it.After printing we trace it on the piece of wood.Then cutter some peoples template and showed some other people how to do it so thy can do it by themselves.Before he checked some more of peoples work he then melted a pewter metal so when he finish cheaking it will be metaled.Then he get his mold and pours the mixture after that he dose other people because it is very very hot.This is a video that Mr Grundy made on how to make a necklace out to Pewter.Pewter Casting Video
