Aesop Fables
This week is Book week and to embrace it we have picked one of Aesops fables and created a comic strip retelling the story. We needed to include the moral of the story. The moral of the story is that Betray a friend, an you’ll often find you have ruined yourself.Aesop is a famous storyteller who was slaved for over 45 years. He then earned his freedom by telling stories and served as an advisor for a king. A fact about Aesop is that he never wrote down his fables he only memorised them. He went to Delphi on a diplomatic mission from King Croesus of Lydia, that he insulted the Delphians, and was sentenced to death because of temple theft, and was thrown from a cliff. It is believed that Aesop was born around 600 BC and to have died around 560 BC. Most of his fables were about animals.
