Panmure Bridge Timeline
This week for Inquiry we were creating a Timeline about the Panmure Bridge. Here is my presentation Timeline. The years that are in this presentation are 1864 and 1865, 1915 and 1916. In between the year, 1864 and 1865 Panmure Bridge was made. This was made out of Wood from a tree and is the earliest surviving swing span bridge in New Zealand. The picture was taken on the Tamaki side. This was a beam bridge. In 1915 people went and reconstructed Panmure Bridge. The Bridge was made out of Wood and string. The picture is taken from the Tamaki side. This was a beam bridge. In 1916 they had the official opening for Panmure Bridge. The bridge went from Panmure and Pakuranga. The opening was on the 14 August 1916. At the time Prime Minister William Massey led the way with a traction engine.
